Temple Hosts 2010 Neighbor Night

February 22, 2010

On Friday, February 19th, Temple Emanu-El was pleased to open its doors to the general Dothan community as we hosted our annual “Neighbor Night.”

The 120 attendees included members of our congregation as well as our neighbors in the Christian, Buddhist, and Moslem community.

During the Shabbat Evening Service, Rabbi Lynne Goldsmith paused several times to explain the context, nature, history, and significance of the various portions of the Service.

When the Service ended, Rabbi Goldsmith lead an informative question and answer session from the pulpit and then we all enjoyed an awesome Oneg.
